Besides your child and any family and friends, please bring a copy of your printed "homework". If you don't mind you may want to print a copy for each person you're inviting.
How many people can i invite?
We will reserve tables with chairs for you and your family. Most people invite 5-10 guests. We will follow up with you to confirm your head count.
Is there an age limit?
No. Anyone raising kids at home is welcome to participate.
How much does this cost
This is a free event that Oakbrook Kids is excited to provide for you!
What exactly is the homework?
Ben invited you to make a list of qualities you'd like your child to have, so we'd like you to put that list in the form of a letter written to your child that you'll share with your family and friends at the celebration. Heather invited you "widen the circle" by inviting people to influence your child as they grow.
Is this an infant baptism?
No. Child dedication is an opportunity for parents to publicly declare their desire to raise their child in the local church and to help them know and love Jesus! It’s a special opportunity for your church family to affirm your decision and pray for your child and family!
Will I be on stage?
Yes. Lead Pastor Mark Malin will call parents and their children on stage during the adult service.
Can I check my children into Oakbrook Kids after I'm on stage?
Yes. Just head back to the kids hallway and we'll get you all set!
