Ushers/Greeters - Greet Guests, provide programs, pass offering & assist with seating
Facility Care - maintain an inviting environment throughout all services
Security - provide safety for all guests, including children (training is provided)
Front desk and phone services - Man the front desk and greet guests in person and on the phone during regular business hours.

Facility Maintenance - help with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, general construction and carpentry

White Glove Facility Care - maintain an inviting environment throughout all services.
Interior Decorating - work with other talented people to decorate for special occasions and for facility improvement projects.

Web Development - create flash animations, maintain multimedia web content, ensure consistency and maintain interactive web pages.
Social Media - maintina our social media presense through Facebook, Shutterfly, Twitter, and eNews
Creative Arts Opportunities:
Vocal - solos & backup for worship, children’s programming and special events
Band - wide variety of musical styles during weekend services and special events
Drama - performance, directing, costuming, props, staging and scriptwriting
Creative Media - produce compelling media and computer animations, create custom music tracks for media content, shoot and edit original video.
Photography - shoot for documentation and artistic representation, weekend services, and other events.
Nursery [infants through toddlers] – interact, cuddle, feed, rock to sleep - and yes, change diapers
2-year olds – prepare the ever-popular snacks (and clean up afterwards!), do simple crafts (ditto cleanup), read, teach, play
Preschool [includes 3-5 year-olds] – teach, play, read, lead small groups and just enjoy this fun age group
Elementary [kindergarten to 1st grade, 2nd to 3rd grade, 4th to 5th grade] – teach, play, lead small groups, supervise activities
Special Friends – play, interact, and provide loving assistance for children with disabilities (training provided)
Materials – lend your creative talents and energy to coordinate, reproduce & gather materials for classroom use
Creative Arts – providing creative energy for the children’s weekend services through sound, lights, media and worship
Are you an adult who totally comprehends the pressures and challenges of young people today? Oakbrook Student Ministries meets Sundays from 6p.m-8pm., September through May – designed for 6th grade through seniors.
Opportunities for High School & Middle School volunteers:
Frontline - set up theWarehouse for the night, register students, event planning, organizing and childcare
Group Leader- lead a small group of middle school or high school students
OSM band - rock on an instrument or with your vocals.
OSM tek - rock back in the booth on lighting, video, switcher, computers, or sound (training is provided)
Opportunities:
Lakeside Books Team - serve guests in the bookstore by answering quesitons, ringing up purchases and providing excellent customer service.
Lakeside Cafe Team - ring up, prepare and serve specialty drinks to our guests
IT Opportunities:
Tech Support - desktop & small device support
Peripherals & Accessories - plug things in and hook stuff up
Database Administration - keep data clean, secure & accessible
programming and coding for website development and server support
Technical Arts Opportunities:
Equipment Operators and Assistants – run lighting, video & sound systems (training provided)
Operate platform cameras and video switchers for services, conferences & workshops (training provided)
Run audio/video systems for children's and off-campus events (like Kidstuf in the public schools)
Technical Support – create PowerPoint & Media Shout text for worship and artist solos, assist in archiving digital data from weekend services, conduct online research for media content, prepare and duplicate DVD content for weekend services and workshops
