WHAT IS FAITH REALLY ALL ABOUT?

WhatFaithLooksLike-TITLE.jpg

Faith is a hard concept to grasp. Is it about what you know? Or about the things you do? Is it something you have? Is it something you can lose?

Your faith in God matters to God and God wants to grow your faith. In this series, we’ll talk about what faith is really all about and what God uses to help us grow.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 24 — MARCH 17

Kokomo - Sundays 10 am
Flora - Sundays 10 am
Peru - Sundays 9 & 10:30 am.

WEEK ONE - What Grows?

Faith looks like a growing trust in God.  We have faith when we are confident that God is who He says He is and will do what He promises to do.

WEEK TWO - PRIVATE DISCIPLINES

The notion of a discipline being essential to an authentic, heart-felt relationship may seem strange. After all, discipline is about routine. A relationship is fluid. But if you think about it, every healthy relationship is held together partly by disciplined actions and routines. Regularly practicing private disciplines can draw us into a closer, more intimate, more dependent relationship with our heavenly Father.

WEEK THREE - PROVIDENTIAL RELATIONSHIPS

If you are like most people, you can't tell your life story without referencing people who played significant roles along the way. The same is true of your faith story. God uses other people to grow our faith.

WEEK FOUR - PERSONAL MINISTRY

If you have ever volunteered to do something for which you felt totally unqualified, then you already know what an experience like that can do for your faith. One of the primary ways God grows our faith is through personal ministry. There is a relationship between our faith and our service to others.
