CARE SUPPORT

There are seasons in life where we experience illness, broken relationships, loss, grief and hardship. At Oakbrook, our Care Team is ready and available to walk alongside you and provide connections with other ministries and resources during these difficult times.   Below are ways we would love to serve you.

PRAYER

Our prayer team gathers weekly to pray over every prayer requests that is submitted. We also have prayer teams available at the front of the stage after every service for anyone in need of prayer.

VISITATION

The visitation team is ready to visit the sick and injured in hospitals or at their homes located within Howard County. They are also passionate about caring for and praying with people and showing them the love of Jesus through care.

THE COUNSELING CENTER

The Counseling Center at Oakbrook Church exists to provide Hope and Healing in a safe place.   By providing a safe atmosphere, our Master's trained counselors develop nurturing relationships offering compassion and care.

They come alongside during difficult situations, helping to ease overwhelming or isolating feelings that rob you of satisfaction and enjoyment.  Within this trusting relationship, you can gain understanding and strength to deal with difficulties and discover new ways of being and relating that transform you and your relationships.

To schedule an appointment, please call 877.350.1658 or email office@wabashfriends.org

BENEVOLENCE

In a case by case basis we provide limited financial assistance to those in need that are a part of Oakbrook Church as well as those who are not a part of Oakbrook Church.  If you find yourself in financial need, please send an email below and a staff member will be in contact with you shortly.

MEALS

Sometimes when you're during a difficult season the best thing is to sit down for a home cooked meal with your friends and family.  The Care Team loves to provide meals for those going through a hard season.  Let us know if we can serve you in that way.
